It's a normal reaction for patients to feel anxious or nervous when going to a dental appointment, but our practice aims to make you feel comfortable and at ease before, during and after your treatment.
Don't let your fear of the dentist prevent you from seeking treatment for damaged gums and teeth.
Our practice has various forms of sedation or anaesthesia to help anxious patients experience a painless and less stressful procedure.
You may elect to have your treatment performed under IV Sedation by our visiting specialist anaesthetist. This will allow patients to have their dental treatment done in a sedated state but they will still be concious and generally report little or no recollection of the treatment. Alternatively, all of our dentists have visiting rights to the Wollongong Day Surgery so that you can have your treatment under General Anaesthetic if you would prefer. Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas) is piped to all of our dental surgeries.
